I’m down to the final quarter. I have a rough sketch in my head of what’s to happen: –
1. Steve and Al make their calls to Thiebert (the smooth bastard)
2. The Nipper collects Steve
3. The Nipper and Steve get Al and prevent the explosives going off.
4. Once this happens Thiebert plans to kill Alex and Maverick:- he takes them to the edge of the cavern and then these three things need to happen:
5. Alex uses the remote he pilfered to some effect
6. Jane prevents Thiebert from killing them (after finding out the truth that Thiebert wants to blow EVERYTHING up ie the stadium and air refineries, not just a few empty shopping malls).
7. Larz and his legion of bugs come to the rescue
Outstanding issues: –
What about Steve, Al and The Nipper? Do they just stop the explosions? What about Alex and Mav in their rescue plans?
Other character resolutions? Kevin? Still angry about the moose incident?

I’ve written a bit after this, but am still struggling. In my head the idea of Steve and Al being taken to their respective terrorist sites was only going to be a few hundred words but I realised that it needed some expansion.
I really, really need to get this written and soon. My enthusiasm is draining and I find myself wandering over to my Hong Kong zombie story and kicking its wheels…
